Sayers closes its doors in Crosby

SAYERS employees expressed their shock and sadness at the sudden closure of the firm's Waterloo shop on Monday. The bakery's St John's Road branch was one of 40 "poor performing" Sayers and Hampsons shops which were closed, along with Sayers Liverpool head office, following a management buyout of the company. In total 270 jobs have been lost across the North West.
