Boks-ing clever for Loo’s big plan

WATERLOO’S innovative new management initiative has been boosted by rugby mad South Africans signing up.

Directors of www.mywaterloo rugby.com took the Waterloo flag and leaflets about the new website to the recent Test matches between the hosts and the British Lions.

Fans from 32 countries have now thrown their support behind the site which gives online managers the chance to make key decisions about the historic Crosby club.

Director Simon Yarwood said: “We have been at the Lions Tests, complete with a giant Waterloo flag, lots of leaflets and our lovely promotion girls.Š It’s a tough job but someone had to do it!

“We have had plenty of supporters watching out for our flag when the Tests have been on and as well as enjoying the rugby, we have been working hard spreading the word.

“We are absolutely delighted with the response. It would seem that www.mywaterloo

rugby.com is really capturing international rugby fans’ imagination.”

It is hoped that the revenue from the £25 online subscriptions will save Waterloo from further relegation and help transform their fortunes.
