Marine FC have announced a number of ticket initiatives for youngsters

MARINE have announced the introduction of special offers for children including free admission and heavily discounted season tickets for the new season.

Children aged 11 and under will be admitted free to league games as long as a paying adult accompanies them. Children aged 12 and above can purchase a season ticket for just £20.

The club’s community liaison officer Barry Lenton has sent details of the offers to over 20 schools in Sefton.

Applications for the junior season tickets can be made at gate 3 before any home game or in the club shop on a match day.

Marine Chairman Paul Leary said: “This is an exciting time to attract younger supporters to watch Marine.

“With a new manager and almost a new playing squad optimism is high and the introduction of these offers is well timed to encourage children to come along to the Arriva Stadium to support their local team.

“ The offer of a £20 season ticket for older children works out at less than £1 per game and for children aged 11 and under admission is free.
