KEVIN Lynch has been given the Marine FC manager's job.
The 33-year-old midfielder had been in temporary charge of the Mariners for their final five league games of the season following the sacking of Alvin McDonald.
Lynch gained his first points as caretaker boss in Saturday's 1-0 win over North Ferriby United at the Arriva Stadium.
Defedner Phil Brazier will join Lynch as assistant manager.
Marine chairman Paul Leary said: ""I am so pleased to be able to give Kevin his first opportunity as a football manager. His main tasks for next season are to rebuild the team and to bring back some stability to our results. This is a new era for Marine Football Club and I look forward to working with him to make some real progress over the coming years. This will be a popular decision for our fans and I know that both Kevin and Phil will do everything they can to bring success to our Football Club."
Lynch added: ""I am absolutely honoured to be given this chance and I will work as hard as I can to bring success and pride back to this Club. I am too looking forward to working with the Chairman to bring an improvement in results for next season and beyond that our fans deserve."
