Pex Hill Lions win the Football Pools Trust Under-10’s cup

PEX Hill Lions Under-10s won the Football Pools Trust cup in a thrilling match with Belvedere.

Both sides are members of the Bootle, Litherland & Netherton Junior Football League and it was Belvedere who scored the first just before half-time.

Tom Stirrip of Pex Hill Lions equalised, and it was Rob Cahill who scored a brilliant goal from 30 yards to win the match, resulting in a 2-1 win.
