THE girls final league game of the season, with the runners up spot already you may have thought they may not approach the game as they did, but having lost to only one side this season they wanted to continue that run.
They defended very well, so well that the keeper Jess Brannon didn’t have a save to make. Defenders Lynsey Richards and Hannah Callear played very well. Jasmine Forshaw and Shannon Grogan worked really hard in midfield while skipper Summer Smith asked all the questions of the Litherland defence and played a big part in the Hat-trick achieved by Megan Howard, Lyndsey Richards hit the other. Crosby introduced four substitutes Grace Morgan, Olivia Brunskill, Terri Ward and Chelsea Tithrington who all contributed well.
Frankie Meadows would like to congratulate the girls on yet another great season despite the disappointment of not winning the League they were only two points off and still have a cup final in May to look forward to.

IN a closely fought contest with not many chances falling to either side the boys came in at half time nil-nil.
Second half Crosby picked pressure paid off when the winning goal came form Ben Short from a superb cross from Tom Moore.
With no substitutes to call on the boys had to work really hard but man of the match went to Daniel Mcloughlin for his hard work in Midfield.
