Great start for Under 7s to bag debut victory

TIGERS U7s took on Maghull Whites at Hightown for their first ever game and didn’t let themselves down.

Goals flew from all over the pitch with James Carr, Mikey McDonnell and Sam Seddon, who all dropped down into their own age group from our U8 team, all grabbing 2 goals each and a fantastic debut hat-trick from skipper Cameron Cinnamond sealed an emphatic win.

AFTER sustained pressure throughout the first half the breakthrough came against the run of play, when a corner was fired in and cleared to the edge of the box where a Churchtown player hit a shot on target and it found the back of the net.

The boys were soon level again when Clark found McGlory inside the box, took a nice touch before hitting it into the bottom corner.

A lovely little dribble by Cullen saw him find Markham who hit his shot well, with the keeper pushing it into the path of McGlory who finished well from a tight angle for to put Tigers 2-1 up.

Kemp-Ellis Made it 3-1, with a looping shot from outside the box just sneaking under the bar.

Some nice interchanges between Thompson, Clark and Brown found McGlory in the box, and his shot was well stopped but Markham followed up and tucking it away.

A handball saw a penalty given to Churchtown and it was put away well but then Cullen picked the ball up just inside the opposition half before hitting a super shot giving the keeper no chance.

TIGERS started with a good tempo and passing, and in their first real attack the ball was played to Joe Burns on the edge of the box he then got his shot in that went under the keeper’s body.

Within a minute it was 2-0 to the Tigers as they got the ball straight from the kick off and the confident Adam Hough took on two players and score with a vicious shot.

There was a lot of confidence within the team and they looked really good, passing, moving and

good wide play from Dylan and Joe, once again Callum was having a good game in midfield with breaking up the play and passing the ball around, from a goal kick played to Ducky who then passed it down the left to Dylan he put a great ball into the box to find Adam Hough to make it 3-0.

To cap a great display up front man-of-the-match Adam Hough sealed his hat-trick with another great effort with his left foot.

Litherland Tigers Under 11s 11 Camlyn Rangers 1

A SCRAMBLED clearance fell to the ever cool Luke who looked up and placed a great controlled half volley across the keeper into the unguarded far corner.

The Tigers doubled their lead when the ball again fell Luke on the edge of the box and he dually dispatched another clinical finish across the keeper for 2-0.

Tom found Luke who in turn found Joe, who coolly finish passed the helpless keeper for 3-0. Camlyn got back into the game with a penalty to make it 3-1.

Another penalty but this time to the Tigers was despatched by Frankey for 4-1.

Luke then placed a great through ball to Kian who slotted home with the confidence of a striker on form for 5-1.

Some quick thinking by Luke completed his hat-trick with a header when he intercepted a clearance into the far post.

A strong challenge by Will midway in the Camlyn half and run on goal crashed home number seven for the Tigers.

Sam then found Joe who in turn found Kian who flicked past the keeper.

Sam beat his man to the ball and coolly lobbed the keeper from the edge of the box for number nine.

A nice piece of play between Tyler and Sam who then found Tom and with the goal gaping made no mistake and found the bottom corner to make it 10-1.

A second penalty for the Tigers finished off the scoring, this time confidently despatched by Charlie.
