GIRLBAND Cleopatra were joined by over 300 people as they took part in a charity walk.
The Clatterbridge Centre held its first ever Beside the Seaside walk at Crosby Marina last weekend.
Cleopatra star Cleo Higgins, who recently appeared on BBC1’s The Voice was joined by her sisters and former bandmates Angel and Yonah on the 10k hike.
The girls said: “We all lead such busy lives but this was a great opportunity for us to spend the day together and enjoy a traditional family day at the beach.
“The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is so close to the hearts of everyone in the area, it’s been a really special day.”
Blustery weather didn’t dampen the participants spirits and the rain held off for the event with the sun shining as walkers made their way over the finish line.
There were many different reasons for people taking part ensuring there was a fantastic atmosphere on the day.
Some were remembering a loved one, while others were celebrating a life and many just enjoyed a morning at the beach.
Karen Swale from The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity said: “We are delighted that the very first Beside The Seaside Walk has been so popular and so well supported, Thank you to everybody who has taken part and raised money to help change the lives of cancer patients.
“We are looking forward to making next year bigger and better than ever”
