Crosby Housebound Club members enjoyed their annual party at Formby Hall Golf Club
CROSBY Housebound Club members took a trip down memory lane entertained by a group with that very name at their recent annual party.
Organised by Age Concern Crosby (formerly Crosby Old People's Welfare) the party proved a great success with those attending enjoying a three course dinner at Formby Hall Golf and Country Club.
The musical group entitled Memory Lane impersonated a variety of singers through the decades and had the old folk joining in a singalong and taking to the dance floor.
The celebration was made possible by a generous donation from Age UK.
Our photograph shows some of the clients and voluntary helpers, some of whom run the twice-weekly housebound club and others who drive clients to and from the meetings at St John's Church community centre, Waterloo.
