One hundred per centers merit a special mention

Last month, students at Lower Site were treated to a Celebration Assembly in recognition of their attendance and puntuality. Rewards were given to those students who gained the most merits by achieving 100 per cent attendance, as well as those who achieved 100 per cent punctuality.

Form 8S (pictured above) gained the most merits, 477, while 8E achieved 443 and in third place were 8C with 305

Christina Leeson achieved the most merits in the Year Group, 43, and received a £10 gift voucher.

A high number of students achieved 100 per cent attendance and punctuality and they all received a prize and a bronze certificate.

Head of Year 8, Mrs Campbell, added: “Well done Year 8. It was a really positive end to a busy term and I look forward to celebrating your achievements at the end of this term. Any pupils who achieve 100 per cent attendance or 100 per cent punctuality for the second term will receive a silver certificate. Good luck this term Year 8.”

In Year 7, Holly O’Neill won the most merits in her form. The overall Y7 winner was Liberty Wignall, 7E, while the Form that won the most merits was 7R. Students received a goldent ticket allowing them a free snack in the canteen.
