PHOTOGRAPHERS from across Crosby will get the chance to display their work at a forthcoming exhibition.

The images, which were all taken by members of Crosby Camera Club, will be on show from January 26 to February 8 at County Gallery, 167 College Road, Crosby.

A special preview night will take place on Friday, January 25 from 6-8pm.

Karen Redfern, Crosby Camera Club’s publicity secretary, said: “Over 20 of our members will be exhibiting and there will be the chance to buy prints of all the pictures on display.”

Founded in 1950, Crosby Camera Club offers a varied programme of events throughout the club season.

Meetings are held at Crosby Central Library every Wednesday, between 8pm -10pm, through September to April, with the programme including lectures, portfolios, practical demonstrations, members competitions and inter-club competitions.

“This is the first time we have held an exhibition like this and we are hoping it will encourage new members to join us,” said Karen.

“Some of our original members are still with us over 50 years since we started which just shows what a friendly club we are.”
