TAKE Me Out host Paddy McGuinness and his Merseyside wife Christine Martin are expecting twins.
They will welcome their first children into the world this summer.
Halewood model Christine, 24, and comedian Paddy, 39, said they were “thrilled” at the prospect of becoming parents.
The couple, who met in Liverpool, confirmed the happy news yesterday.
A spokeswoman for the couple told the ECHO: “Paddy McGuinness and his wife Christine are thrilled to be expecting not one but two babies this year.
“The couple are delighted to be starting a family and can’t wait to introduce the twins when they arrive in the summer.”
A close pal told the ECHO the mum-to-be was “feeling great and thoroughly enjoying the pregnancy.”
Christine met the TV star when she was modelling in a fashion show at the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament in Calderstones Park. The pair were introduced by a mutual friend but she admitted she wasn’t starstruck because she had “never seen him on anything”.
Bolton-born Paddy, who is famed for his catchphrase “no likey, no lighty” on his Saturday night dating show, popped the question at Christmas 2009.
Former beauty queen Christine previously told the ECHO he presented her with a fiancee card and a diamond ring.
They wed in a lavish ceremony at Thornton Manor in Wirral in June 2011 after more than three years together.
