Louise Hicks, Chair for the group said, “2012 has been our most productive year so far. We have taken over the maintenance of the rose gardens, organised a summer event and applied for funding to improve the multi-use games area within the park. So this is a great opportunity for people to come along and see the improvements for themselves. Our group have been over-whelmed by the support of both local residents and local businesses who have supported us over the last 12 months. Several of our volunteers have been busy making items for our craft sale including Christmas tree decorations, calendars, Christmas cards, chutneys and knitted items.”
