my mum used to let me save my pocket money for records from the shop on County Rd, by the Barclays Bank.

Pete Burns in Probe, its where Ted Baker is now, pouring scorn on your purchases through black contact lenses

@jrewingL4

I used to get the odd vinyl from Creases on County Rd in Walton. Really sad day when it closed down. @Voice OfAnfield will agree

@M_Jones_82

I used to get sheet music from Creases when I was forced to do piano lessons

@VoiceofAnfield

Absolutely – Creases kept me and Goodison going for years !!!

@ChrisCanty

I remember going to Probe Records to buy Echo And The Bunnymen’s Pictures On My Wall 7" and being asked by Pete Burns what are you buying that c*** for?

@M_Jones_82

I got a credit note for Hairy's once as a prezzie. Was made up. We need more record shops

@cambo691

It has to be Probe or Skeleton Records in Birkenhead

@maxdog1967

Alibabas I think it was in Walton Vale where I used to get all my old singles and the cheap vinyl shop on Elliot Street

@eddie_corrigan

Quirks in Crosby. I spent most days after school in there spending my pennies at the height of Britpop

@GibsonSteven

Penny Lane records was fantastic. Bought a Bon Jovi album for my wife once . . . salesman and I rolled our eyes at same time . . .

@FestivalFirsts

I remember standing in awe just staring at Pete Burns in Probe with his cats’ eyes

@stromi

I remember Roundhouse Records on St Helens which was were all the mobile DJs seemed to go for limited edition vinyl.

@TAXXHOUND

Does anyone remember Edwards on Kensington, they sold second hand records too, so you could do swaps!
