St John's Shoebox Appeal

St John's Shoebox Appeal

Shoeboxes are such simple items, which 11 months of the year we tend to throw away without a second thought. However, for the children at St John’s CE primary school in Waterloo they know to keep hold of their boxes, for the Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Appeal. The children have a real sense of charity and the importance of giving at this time of year, to those who are less fortunate. The children have collected 45 shoeboxes and as you can see above, beam with pride as they are photographed with their boxes.
