YEAR 7 students from Chesterfield High School visited the Crosby Hall Education Trust (CHET) centre recently.
The visit on Thursday October 11 and Friday October 12 2012 formed part of the induction programme for new students.
During two exciting days (October 11 and 12), students took part in a range of activities aimed at developing self-confidence and building strong interpersonal relationships.
The students conducted themselves admirably, throwing themselves into all the activities with great vigour and enthusiasm. All students helped each other complete the assault course, and worked together in teams on the shelter building exercise.
They shared out the tasks and worked as teams to build the structures.
Mr Porter, head of Year 7, said, “What a great two days! The students were a credit to both themselves and the school for the way in which they approached the activities and helped each other overcome the tasks they found challenging.
“I am sure they will remember the experience for many years to come.”
