Mayor and Mayoress of Sefton Meet Crosby Veterans

The Mayor and Mayoress of Sefton, Councillor Kevin and Linda Cluskey, were at the official opening of Annie's Tea Rooms in Enbutt Lane this week. To mark the occasion, and as it coincided with Remembrance weekend, the proprietor Anne Matthews invited the Crosby Royal British Legion and veterans to join them for traditional afternoon tea and sandwiches in this quaint old fashioned cafe.
The cafe has only been open a short time but already has regulars and they in turn supported the Royal British Legion with a fund raising raffle, prizes donated by the Tea Room, and nearly £100 was raised and presented to the Crosby RBL Chairman Dave Quinn.
Annie's Tea Room express thanks to everyone who supported their special Remembrance Day in aid of the Royal British Legion.
