SAINSBURY’S bosses promise to bring life back to Crosby village when they unveil detailed plans for its new superstore to the public next week.
But today the Crosby Herland can exclusively reveal an artist’s impression of how the multi-million pound development will look.
And company executive Jo Try believes the proposals will help Crosby thrive for many years to come.
The supermarket giant was expected to submit plans for the Moor Lane development in the summer but had to delay following a public consultation.
The current store will be replaced with a larger supermarket, retail units and parking facilities.
Residents are urged to view the plans, which will be on display in Crosby village on Friday November 6 from 10am to 4pm and Saturday, November 7 from 10am to 7pm.
A mobile unit will be set up on the pedestrianised area between Liverpool Road and Moor Lane for people to view the plans.
Sainsbury's held a public exhibition of the principle designs during Stage One of its consultation in May.
