Crosby Lions to host charity carnival at the weekend

HUNDREDS of people are expected to attend the annual Crosby Lions carnival at the weekend.

The event will take place on the school fields of Great George’s Primary School on Sunday.

Crosby and District Lions Club Annual Charity Carnival will take place from 11am to 4pm.

There will be a range of charity stalls as well as family entertainment.

Tom Longton will be entertaining crowds with two sheep dog displays.

The Crazy Tramps clown act will also do two performances at the show.

Silcocks fairground rides will be available for youngsters and the North West Stationary Engines will be there with their static display.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to have a look at some of the old fire engines from the Merseyside Fire Museum.

The museum is based in Crosby Road South and a selection of old fire engines will be on display to the public on the field.

The Crosby Lions will also have the mechanical elephant children rides.
