Sixteen-year-old Crosby girl tells court of rape ordeal in flat

Regarding the second alleged victim, Simon Christie, prosecuting, told the court that on August 1, the 15-year-old girl went into the city centre with a girlfriend.

The teenager drank a lot and next recalled waking up in a double bed with Saad, whom she knew, lying on his stomach next to her with his leg over her thigh.

The girl, who was fully dressed apart from her underwear, saw four Asian men standing around the bed and said she asked Saad, who she knew as Sam, to take her home to Childwall which he did.

She later found bruising and recollected Saad raping her, claimed Mr Christie.

When Saad was arrested he claimed the girls were lying and the alleged offences had not occurred. However he was re-questioned after DNA evidence was discovered.

The case continues.
