A CROSBY couple have returned from a missionary trip to Uganda where they visited local projects and delivered Bibles.
Sue and Steve Sinclair, parishioners of St Luke’s Church, Liverpool Road, spent a number of weeks in the East African country.
This was the third visit to Uganda for the pair and the seven other members of the Community Watchman Ministry team.
Their first day was spent at the Kampala Children’s Centre, where the CWM team were reunited with the children and staff they had met on previous visits.
The team also visited some of the local churches where they ministered, including a five-day conference for 680 church leaders who had travelled the length and breadth of Uganda and Kenya to attend.
The group also delivered 600 Bibles, some of which were collected at St Luke’s Church and were bought through the contributions of many people from across Merseyside.
Sue, of Ronald Road, said: “A huge thank you to all who have given so generously to support this work and especially to the local churches.”
