Annual sale at Crosby church raises more than £1,000

AN annual church sale has raised more than £1,000 for All Saints Church.

A wide variety of stalls were on offer for visitors to browse around including a white elephant stall, a fair trade stall and a jewellery stall.

A sum of £1,050 was raised from the sales on the day, which was donated to the All Saints Church fund.

Gordon Iverson, one of the organisers of the event, said: “We were very pleased with the amount raised, especially considering the financial climate.

“Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we had many familiar faces coming to this year’s sale.

“I would like to say a big thank you to all the stall holders and everyone who turned up and bought things.”
