CROSBY solicitors Morecrofts has sponsored an art exhibition showcasing the talents of its own legal secretary and talented artist, Lisa Holmes.
The exhibition, held at the Coach House in Calderstones, included both watercolour paintings and pencil drawings.
Selling 15 paintings during the exhibition, Lisa has reaped the rewards of her hard work.
She began drawing and painting when her husband started fishing and is self taught, using books, DVDs and going to demonstrations.
In the last two years she has been awarded the “best pencil drawing” for a picture of penguins at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art and has been commended for her art at the Cheshire Wildlife Show.
Lisa shared the success of the exhibition with friend Heather Hyde, whose work was also displayed and available for purchase.
The pair will be doing a further exhibition at the Coach House in Calderstones on September 29.
