Matthew Lawrenson is a soloist and a pop singer.

He lives in Southport and goes to Birkdale High School.

Matthew said: "I do not play my own material yet but I am working on some new material right now.

"I have years of experience on stage performing at the Arts Centre, Crosby Civic Hall, in front of the whole school and also at hotels in Spain."
